The Beginning of Our Finca Journey

From the moment we set foot on this land, we felt its magic - it was far from perfect. It was worn down, with plenty of quirks and imperfections; a fixer-upper with cracked walls, overgrown greenery, and a charm that was just waiting to be rediscovered. But that’s exactly what captured our hearts.

We didn’t want a finished home; we wanted a project—a blank canvas where we could pour our creativity, time, and love into every detail. 

This is not just a renovation; it’s a journey of creating a home that reflects our family, the beauty of the island, and the soul of its traditions. We’ve chosen to approach this step by step, living in the house, experiencing its character, and allowing it to show us what it needs. Hence, nothing here happens overnight. We believe in the beauty of taking our time—learning, adapting, and uncovering new ideas along the way. We’re embracing the art of slow living, letting the renovation evolve at its own pace. 

From drafting our own renovation plans to carefully researching where to source local materials, such as wood, natural stone, and iron, and artisanal craftsmanship, we’ve poured our hearts into every decision.
